Getting There — Traveling to Savary Island

To really appreciate Savary Island, and these beautiful cottages that Andrew is building, you need to visit. Andrew is frequently up on Savary working, of course, and would be most happy to show you around, and to show off his work.

Getting to Savary is no problem at all. You can hop on a plane from Vancouver or Vancouver Island and be there is a snap. Or grab a morning ferry from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver over to the Sunshine Coast, and then take the short water taxi trip from Lund. You’ll be on Savary in time for lunch.

The following companies offer air service:

West Cost Air

Harbour Air

Island Air

Or, there is hourly water taxi service from Lund:

Lund Water Taxi

Coming from Vancouver, you would first have to take the BC Ferry to the Sunshine Coast from Horseshoe Bay.

British Columbia Ferries

There is accomodation on Savary, with numerous bed and breakfast options. Andrew would be happy to make suggestions. If you need any assistance with your travel arrangements, just phone Andrew (604-885-4832, Andrew) or use the
